Things are ALWAYS
happening around St. PhilipÕs.
Here's just a sampling of some of what
you might have missed.
The Sunday
School teachers for children and youth met Saturday for a teachersÕ training
and luncheon. This year we have a standard code of dress for our teachers, and
most of them followed it perfectly. (This, of course, was completely unplanned,
but they were very proud of themselves for lining up in spectrum orderÉ) Their
faces have been obscured, mostly because it seemed sillier to do so.

The
PhilippianPix editor takes very seriously the job of noticing things around the
campus of St. PhilipÕs. This framed art in our Parish Hall had something very
curious upon closer inspection (and the editor actually had to come home and
read the manual to try to figure out how to photograph without a flash!). Not
being an artist or even an art history major, I am not sure of the symbolism of
six toesÉ..

A little
mystery developed when various representations of Jesus went missing from the
Sunday School classrooms. Finally they were unearthed – in the Parlor
bathroom, arranged exactly as you see here (with a few random pieces that
werenÕt missed yet!) Now that you know what they might look like, please let
the office know if you see things like this in odd placesÉ
