Things are ALWAYS happening around St. PhilipÕs.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

St. PhilipÕs Close has a few new dashing residents hanging around. Full members of our congregation, they are willing to take on the job of welcoming everyone and anyone to the campus. We are glad to have among us Tucker (left), who has graciously agreed to live with MariaÕs family, and Reggie (right), who chose Karen as his companion.

A weekly occurrence at St. PhilipÕs is staff meeting, which requires a lot of papers, pens, coffee, Kleenex, and computers – and (of course) calendars of both the paper and digital varieties.

Little by little and piece by piece the classrooms downstairs are being prepared for Sunday School to start on Sunday, September 9th. In the Godly Play classrooms, the center of the floor remains a big mess as pieces and parts and craft materials and story materials are sorted into their proper spots. This year age-appropriate books are being added to the options of Montessori ÒworkÓ that the children may choose.

Joan never fails to help groups that use the kitchen. The PhilippianPix Photographer Extraordinaire wasnÕt fast enough to catch the bustle of preparations for the ECW luncheon and meeting on September 6. Joan was just tidying up the last few thingsÉJoan would certainly be a blessing in my home kitchen!
