Things are ALWAYS happening around St. Philip’s. 
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

The E-pistle Editor went on a hunt for the elusive new Bishop’s chair cushion that the Needlers had finished. She found one cushion in the office wrapped up, but that was the old cushion. Finally, the new cushion was run to earth. Oddly enough, it was actually ON the Bishop’s chair.

So crossing that off her list, the E-pistle Editor went on her happy way to see what was happening, and found this group claiming to be the Budget Committee. They are either imposters or efficient, as they immediately disbanded after being photographed. Knowing the individuals represented here, I believe they were certainly efficient.

Another behind the scenes shot, but a ministry that happens without fail: the Praise and Worship Choir members always have a dedicated soul who prepares the music notebooks with the correct music for coming Sunday.

Many years ago, the downstairs room pictured above WAS the Parish Hall, where church dinners and adult Sunday School took place. When the education wing was built, this room became the “Youth Activities Center,” always called the YAC. Shortly after we all “moved in” to the new space, this sign appeared in the YAC. It’s been laminated and given a bulletin board to live on, but has always been there, somewhere in the room. (Fran W was the creator, before she moved to Birmingham eight years ago!)
