Things are ALWAYS happening around St. PhilipÕs.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

First of all, through the marvels of electronic communication, we have late breaking photos from our cub reporter on the spot at the Diocesan Convention, taking place at Kanuga Conference Center Nov. 8-10. Below (left), Jo and Porter Taylor, our own Maria, and Jim Pritchett pose for the photo op after enjoying the concert by Elizabeth von Trapp (right).

Dr. Wells is always a popular speaker at EYC. He showed up this past Sunday to present the ever-popular Shroud of Turin program for a bumper crop of the combined Jr. and Sr. EYC. Several of the youth enjoyed their plates from the Evensong Reception while they listened.

Our youngest Godly Play students all practiced the art of storytelling as their work last Sunday. Elizabeth B worked with Noah and the Ark.

Will F and Jack L worked with the Good Samaritan Parable. See that box of Kleenex? ThatÕs what we call a prop. The road to Jericho was curling up without it – and the City of Jericho was nicely propped up next to it!

Belinda R listens to Celia R work with the Parable of the Mustard SeedÉ

And, the PhilippianPix photographerÕs favorite kind of picture: Another picture of NOTHING! This corner of the YAC has been decluttered, once and for all! This has been a six-month-long project that is finally completedÉ

Finally, the Wonderful Wednesday Committee has received a few questions about the reference to Fr. Rob and his alter ego ÒCircus Boy.Ó Deep in the church archives, a grainy Polaroid picture ruined by the sun surfaced: indeed, Fr. Rob DID ride a unicycle at Wonderful Wednesday (for ÒCircus Night.Ó) Although this picture commemorates the practice run, there were many witnesses! It did happen!
